Cross My Heart!

The buyers’ attorney called me to say his clients were no longer interested in the house. Since I knew my clients would ask for feedback, I asked him if he knew why the prospective purchasers were walking away.

“Well, there’s his version, and her version, and then my version,” he said.  I said that I’d like to hear all three.

“She called to say that the house didn’t meet her expectations, and he emailed me that the house was overpriced.  And if you promise not to say anything to your clients, I’ll tell you that I don’t think they really have the money.”

 I didn’t say a word, because emails aren’t considered talking, right?
