I am not a procrastinator. If I have three things to do in three weeks, I’ll start on all of them right away. When the tasks are completed, I rest a lot easier.
One of my clients apparently feels the same way. Though his closing is weeks away, I asked his seller’s attorney to provide closing numbers to me now. When he didn’t respond, I assured my curious client that it was OK to wait until the last-minute, but “if we have the luxury of time, why not use it?”
My client’s response could be a slogan for my anti-delay philosophy: “Last minute is for Christmas shopping only!”
