Reaching for the Ridiculous

A buyer requested $10,000 off the price of a house because of an adverse condition. The seller agreed to the price drop, but shortly thereafter the buyer came back and asked that the problem also be corrected!

 

When I reminded the attorney that the $10,000 reduction was in lieu of remediation, being on the opposite end of a phone did not keep me from seeing him shrugging his shoulders as he said,  “Hey, you take a shot!”
