Whither the Water Line?

Are you sensing an economic rising tide, do you feel all washed out, or are you like me, dog paddling in circles? I tried to gauge what attendees at a recent boat show were thinking about the economy, in my latest Huffington Post:

This blog posting lingered for over a week until HuffPo published it, and in the interim, I attended another boat show.  The locale was less upscale and it seemed some of the attendees were as well.  If Norwalk saw a 2:1 ratio of positivity over negativity when discussing the economy, I’d rate the first weekend at the Tobay show as 1:1.  Each negative comment was countered with an “I’m here to buy!” response; every soon-to-be spender was balanced by a sidelines spectator.

Boating rocks!
Cool that you like the boating lifestyle, I have heard you only enjoy a boat two days in life, the day you buy it, and the day you sell it! LoL I wonder then how would it feel if you rented it every once in a while?

Re: Boating rocks!
That's a myth--the days in between are often some of the best days of your life!

There are "clubs" that you may join and then take out different boats at different times. Look at our magazine--we have such an advertiser. www.boatingtimesli.com
