Today Is My Fourth Blog-Iversary!

This blog turns four years old today.  That’s four years of foresight, insight, moanings and groaning about the real estate marketplace and the practice of law.  That’s also four years of having a soapbox from which to share my life’s delights as well as my various complaints, tempered with enough observations, it seems, to make my writings relatable and interesting enough to keep my readers returning time after time.

This blog is a disciplined act on my part that yields no financial reward.  I write five days per week, with few exceptions, so the responsibility of needing something to write sometimes causes me to expand on the initially trivial (dumb ad on a diner placemat) or share  a private moment publicly (such as the passing of a friendship torpedoed by a buddy’s intolerance). I find writing blissful; I hope that even when I share that I’m seething, you can tell that typing the words on the page make me elated.

You’re a valuable part of my blog experience.  I want to thank all of you who read, and the few of you who comment here (my inbox is filled on some days with remarks, observations, and criticism about what I wrote, but hardly anyone wants to make an anonymous or attributed comment here).  I am grateful to you, and appreciate the gift you bestow each time you return here.
