It Is Not All Fun & Games

First, indulge me:  Thanks, NY Jets.  It was a fun ride!

Second, I thought I’d share something that is deeply disturbing me.  I’m hearing from those who know that there’s serious interest in multi-million dollar homes out on the East End again.  I don’t begrudge anyone their hard-earned (or even inherited) money, but the traders and investment types who are buying eight figure houses put money in their wallets by basically moving it out of the hands of retirement funds, small investors, municipal coffers, and even whole countries.  That is just wrong:  those who provide actual goods and services are suffering big-time, while those who do nothing but think up new ways to put smiley faces on bottles of poison are once again letting the good times roll.

AND let's not forget the enormous bonuses they get for the fact that they "put money in their wallets by basically moving it out of the hands of retirement funds, small investors, municipal coffers, and even whole countries", as if they've achieved some major feat.
