No! No! A Thousand Times No!

That’s about the response from the would-be investor who e-mailed me earlier this week, asking for my thoughts about buying up a few Florida condos.  I had merely asked a bunch of questions to spur a conversation, but she e-mailed me to say “I didn’t give this enough thought. I just figured I’d swoop in, get a few deals, wait a few months then sell and make a profit. I showed your questions to my sister and she basically smacked me V-8 style (she’s my older sis and says she has that privilege). You need to gamble like you need a hole in your head, she said, and I agree. Thanks.”

OK.  Thanks, Sis.  You cut out a whole lot of talking or writing for me after I got your little sister’s answers.

Have a great weekend!  After Wednesday night’s sparkler from King Henrik, let’s hope the Rangers win again and get Drury a bit of rest.  I have watched hockey for over four decades and while I’ve seen better games, I have never, ever seen a better goalie performance.  That was 2 ½ hours of sheer grit, determination, talent and unbelievable reflexes.

As for the Mets:  It was a long winter and I longed for baseball season to begin.  What do they say about being careful what you wish for?

The questions were solid. The bubble's burst is partially the fault of investors who lost a lot of money and your client should learn from their mistakes and not repeat them.

Thank you for your comment. You're correct about learning where others went wrong.

And also, the Mets are not worth watching these days.

It has truly been a very long, distressing week as a Mets' fan.

But the Rangers are playing tonight and the Jets might just not screw up tomorrow's draft. So I have some hopes left as of now.
