*a/k/a another "inspiration" Friday, in which today I'll share with you words of writers I admire:
The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities.
I decided it is better to scream. Silence is the real crime against humanity.
Beware of the man who denounces women writers; his penis is tiny and he cannot spell.
In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. I simply can't build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery and death.
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.

Have a great weekend! I was really touched by the private e-mails and some postings of birthday wishes last weekend from readers who are strangers to me, and I thank you all. This should be an exciting weekend for football fans (I'm rooting for a quarterback in one game and against a team in the other) and who knows? The Rangers might extend their winning streak to two and the Knicks might keep their streak alive!
