There’s a Kind Of Flush

Writing about pre-mobile communications yesterday led me to recall a cell phone story:

After a closing, I was in the large restroom of a bank attorney’s office.  At one point, a phone belonging to a person in a stall rang.  Almost immediately thereafter, a loud order was barked to everyone in the bathroom:  “NOBODY FLUSH ‘TIL I FINISH THIS VERY IMPORTANT CALL!”

I am always grossed out when someone answers the cell phone in a public bathroom. That is wrong in so many ways, like what if you drop the phone, where was your hand before you answered it, does your caller need to hear you're in the potty, and does everyone else have to listen to your conversation?
